#4 is Steve Fuller's retired number. How is it assigned to Watson?

On a long enough timescale, all numbers will be retired.

simple Retire the jersey, not the number. Have a special trophy case for the retired jerseys in the football complex.

then it is fine by me.
If he would have said no and they did it anyway, or didn't ask him at all I would be opposed but if he gave his approval then it's no big deal.

the twitter account said thanks to Fuller and his family

so they must have agreed to let him wear it. I think its a shame honestly, whats the purpose of retiring a number just to give it to a highly rated commit? Oh well, just the way things go.

We really don't have very many numbers retired. Seems stupid to retire them at all if you're just going to let someone go ahead and wear it.

because you are on the ROH doesn't mean your jersey is retired. I can think of several who have worn the numbers that are on the ROH. Can't think of any #4's though so maybe Fuller's was officially retired.
