True freshman making his first start at boundary CB and having to cover one of the fastest WRs in college football. I think he held up well at times. Get a life coot

I wouldn't say he held up well. He had great moments and bad. I think our DB scheme sucked and the island was too big for freshman Dbs. Our best playmaker was put in weak position as Barnes was taken away from plays when he is a ball hawk.

I think our Def gameplan stunk. Our LBs were used as assassins and left DL to contain, leaving DBs wide open. I figured Def would change after half and they played the same.

Wiggins struggled early, but progressed. And he'll have competition from Lukus, plus Gipson and Feagin coming in.

Clemson's track record of young secondary players getting torched in a game and becoming absolute lockdown monsters later in their collegiate careers is very good, even going back to the Bowden days. Hated that Shelton had to go through it but it will make him better. He deserved that game ending INT. It was storybook.
