Per 247 Sports:
1. SEC signed a total of 163 four and five star recruits (13 five stars and 150 four stars) for an average of 11.6 per team.
2. Big 12 signed a total of 51 four and five star recruits (7 five stars and 44 four stars) for an average of 5.1 per team.
3. Big 10 signed a total of 68 four and five star recruits (2 five stars and 66 four stars) for an average of 4.8 per team.
4. Pac 12 signed a total of 53 four and five star recruits (6 five stars and 47 four stars) for an average of 4.4 per team.
5. ACC signed a total of 55 four and five star recruits (5 five stars and 50 four stars) for an average of 3.9 per team.

In a way yes. I know what you're saying but it does hurt us. The acc being so weak is used by every coach recruiting against us. TV money and everything that's been discussed.

In the ACC, we have 19/55 4 and 5 stars - roughly 2/3 of the whole conference. That speaks to the weakness of the ACC. But compared to the mighty $EC, we were well above average (19 vs 11)
Even if you don't put your whole heart and soul into star ratings - I think the apparent conclusion is that we're fine.
Remain calm, all is well.

The fact that 357 4 stars plus 33 5 stars are given out in one year is a joke. Heck there’s only 259 NFL draft picks in a year.

Great point, the other is, how many 3's became 4's and 4's became 5's depending on who was recruiting them, and where they were leaning.

Oh it happens. These recruiting services know subscribers aren’t going to pay to be told they’re going to suck in the future. That’s why Scar’s recruiting classes are always inflated. They have a lot of subscribers reaching out for hope.
Don’t get me wrong for the most part they do a good job at the top but is it that hard when you compare a kids measurables to his offer sheet?

Considering all 7 big 12 5* were Texas and OU and 4 of the PAC were usc and UCLA I’m not sure the conference ranking say much.

Instead of by conference, another interesting perspective would be to see this broken down by around 8 regions. Like all of southeast (like all the NC, SC, FL GA, TN and so on schools grouped together) like how I've broken out in the attached map.
