How was the defense solid? They gave up 24 points (yes, the one called back was a TD) to LSU in our home stadium. They gashed the defense with the run.

They beat us 17-10. And they didn’t gash anything with the run. They barely had 100 yds. Averaged something like 3 yds a carry.

Defense was solid...what game did you watch? Their OC adjusted at halftime, picked up yards on both the ground and through the air. Honestly, their coaching staff adjusted...ours, not so much.

The called back touchdown was pure luck. I wasn't mad about it but that call could have just as easily have stood. As per the second half, they figured out how to move the ball and adjusted. Did we keep them under their average...sure. but did we come up with timely stops In the second half? Not really. The defense did enough to win, but their offense adjusted and was better. Our LB was below average all night and the vaunted Dline was mostly a non factor. If our defense was supposed to be average then i would agree with you. For a unit returning an entire Dline, corners, and freshman all american at LB this unit underperformed.

What game did you watch if it wasn't for the SEC refs blowing that touchdown pass in the corner of the end zone we would have lost by 14 ...we got manhandle on both sides of the ball...nothing good to take from this game ..and LSU will not will the SEC so there not an elite team sorry of the shocker

They called them on us but let more go for them. The refs didn’t call it evenly there but they didn’t miss anything in the end zone.

Correct. And I never knock our players, but the coaches put us in the situation we’re in with the running backs. The run game will be non existent all season against any average defense.
That was a #### of a play by Randall on that TD though.
