Take home lump sum winnings after taxes (in SC) for the powerball winner if there is one Monday. If you were to win how would you spend it in regards to Clemson football? Ultimate tailgate setup, IPTAY donor levels, presenting giant check at midfield, funding NIL deals, etc?

IPTAY has proven its only in it for the money. Had season tickets for twenty years. You’ve heard the same story from many others on here.

IPTAY was founded to be "only in it for the money", that is their purpose.***

Hey Argo, have you ever heard of athletic scholarships? We have over 400 athletes, the number is growing and IPTAY pays the bills. If you had ever had a child or grandchild in a college, you would understand and take a calculator and do the math for tuition, room and board and books for over 400 kids and you would understand why IPTAY needs money.

I would do a naming rights deal to keep Memorial Stadium named Memorial Stadium with no business name involved. I would also purchase Tiger Band new uniforms.

If you're giving to Clemson this is a great idea. Perhaps a "Save the Hill" fund. I would set up a fund to give a fair amount away to local charities, but it would be anonymously.

There would be no "giant check at midfield". In fact, no one would know I had won. My lifestyle might change. I could pass that off on some good investments that paid off.
I'm not going to stand before 85,000 people and a TV audience to show I'm willing to give it away.

that's way down the list of priorities for me. first thing im doing is quitting my job, then traveling around to see where i want to buy my next house/property. iptay would be fine without my money for a while.

I'd take the 30 year annuity and set up a trust account to distribute it to people and religious organizations of my choosing. I'd give away at least 50% of it, maybe more. Clemson fb would be far down the list. Family, friends and God would be at the top of the list.
Many accountantss say taking the 30 year annuity is best way to realize a bigger amount you will actually get. I would consult a financial wall street expert and lawyer before deciding on which option. I would set up some type of account to have the money going into before I claimed it.

No kids -
I’d take the lump sum, create small endowments to support some local nonprofits I work with and see how fast I could blow through the rest. Attending Clemson sporting events would be one of those ways.

I would pass the ticket on to my kids and let them go to Columbia together to cash it out. Both have dependents to maximize deductions and I wouldn't have the headaches involved with managing it.

You can collect anonymously in SC. Not a good idea for people to know your kids had that kind of money. An attorney would be collecting that money.

I would start a NIL fund. The money would have to go to securing a top punter. We would never have to worry and complain about punting again.

Currently I live in New York and can only get to one or two home FB games a season. After ensuring my children and grandchildren do not have a financial concern during their lifetimes and donating to charity, I'd buy a house on Keowee so I can go to whatever home games I'd like to.

but Let’s see
Start a food service company and fire Aramark to get competent concessions operations
Probably some kind of house that’s walking/boating distance to the stadium for easy game day transportation
Offer John Swofford 1M to his favorite charity to be in a dunking booth at fanfest at the ACC championship game
Buy up all of the land near the dead cockroach down in Columbia that they call a stadium, build the world’s largest pig farm, and install giant fans that blow all of the aroma towards the stadium on game day.

I would take care of my family members in need the I would try to help those who are hungry, sleeping out on the street and people who have other needs.
I am a lifelong dedicated Clemson Tiger but I want be one supporting enabled athletes who are getting a free education, NIL $$$$$$$$ and revenue sharing.
If I gave Clemson any money it would be to help struggling non athletic students to pay their tuition so they would not have go into substantial debt to obtain a college degree that they really want.
Let the new pay for play kids pay their own way !!!

Do the same for parking passes. Probably bigger profit. Or you could just buy land near stadium and build large 20 story pkg garage. $100 each spot PER GAME OR $500 for season. During off season, turn it into a big flea mkt site.

SC is one if 11 states allowing lottery winners to remain anonymous without conditions. NC allows winners of 50mm or more to remain so for just 90 days. That period is in addition to the number of days the winner waits to claim the prise. So if I win in NC, will wait 90 days to claim or 180 days total after renting a small house more than an hour from home using the reverse of first and middle name. Then show up to claim in a professional disguise. Don't think there's a rule against it. Not a perfect plan, but better than having my uncovered face shown all over the 50 states and being a target for every criminal they contain.
