2 sets of laws!

One set of laws for us, one set for them. If my lawyer falsifies evidence in any way it’s a felony right? Why is it not that way in what just happened in the senate? Yes, Trump was acquitted. But the disturbing thing to me is that 57 senators apparently don’t care about the rule of law. I’m sure some of the “orange man bad” crowd has a way to defend falsifying evidence.

The hypocrisy in the Dems Presentation is egregious! Jamie Raskin's son offs himself, probably because he's embarrassed by his old man, and Swallwell barks about Trump being treasonous when he's been boinkin' a Chinese honeypot! This is rich! You just can't make this stuff up!

An impeachment trial

is not a criminal trial. In a criminal trial the standards/burdens of proof/truth are MUCH higher since a person’s life or liberty may be at stake. This is not the case in an impeachment trial, which is really just senators deciding if someone gets to keep their job. Also, ‘prosecutors’ aren’t required to prove anything ‘beyond a reasonable doubt’ and a defendant isn’t entitled to ‘due process’, as they would be in a criminal trial.

Did not realize that. Defendants are not given “due process?” I’m glad you explained that because makes it clear that what we watched truly was a crap show. We just watched 100 senators who had made up their minds go “play court”. What a circus.
