When an opposing team's QB gives you 9 points, pick 6 and safety, and throws you an interception with his team 2nd and goal at 2 yard line but still beats you ? That looks more like a 17 point loss to me.
Coaching decisions? You get a safety and they kick to you and you run some high school looking trick play ending in a fumble. Why don't you just line up and run the ball down their throat.

All said the defense did what they had to do. Stopped them and forced the punt. I was confident that we would drive down kick FG and win. Would not have to pass. 4 plays for 1st downs til close fg.

So why do you put in the freshman who had already fumbled the ball away earlier to field the punt? Another fumble. Game over.

Look at Notre Dame game decisions. Put Cade in cold off bench inside own 10 yard line and play call for him to roll left when he us right handed. Interception leads to td. Put DJ back in leads drive then throws a pick 6. Cade never gets back in.
Go back to FSU game. 20 point lead start 4th quarter. Clemson had kess than 50 yards offense the whole quarter. FSU had 135 yards and 2 touchdowns. Clemson had to survive onside kick to win by 6.
Something seriously wrong on offense and defense struggles in 2nd halves.
I think we beat UNC but play Bama in bowl and not confident about outcome of that one.
Sorry. I rarely post just read others. But that game Saturday finally got to me.
I've been iptay member since 57. My dad played for Frank Howard. I have 10 season tickets. I've seen a lot. But Saturday was unbearable to watch.

No matter the details, we have declined from an elite perennial CFP contender (not just a participant like others) and crushing a Bama dynasty team to claim a second National championship in 3 years, to losing to the coots at home to end a couple impressive streaks as they sealed our fate to miss CFP for a 3rd year. And let’s be honest, that coot program this year, and their new coach is about as silly as it gets.
