I like to try new stuff and love family recipes for Thanksgiving.

Oyster pie was one of my dad's favorites at the holidays. Rich as h### but really good.

I start with Nature's Own Perfectly Crafted thick sliced white bread, 2 slices.
Then I use a butter knife to generously spread creamy jiff peanut butter on one slice.
Next, I clean the knife off with the other piece of bread and get smuckers strawberry jelly.
I spread this on top of the peanut butter so they can sort of join forces.
Place two slices of bread together and viola. Bona petite.

My dad always does homemade cranberry sauce and cornbread dressing. Both are his mom's recipes. They are involved but excellent. Recipes are at home on a card but I will share if those interest you.


I may return to this thread as I need to decide what I'm going to make this year.
