Until the last month or so, I reckoned it would be at the Rose Bowl. Why wouldn't it be ? A nice read that confirms most of the comments already made by Tnet brethren. Thanks for posting.
p.s. no offense to those who love San Fran. We had a nice visit about 20 years ago, just too many people for this country boy. I feel the same way about all big cities.

Ok the article makes some obvious points but ... Any excuse is a good one to come to California ... high 60's and sunny today ... outdoor football instead of in some modern retractable roof Georgia dome... I bet Notre Dame and Oklahoma wouldn't be complaining about making the trip. There's other arguments including the fact that tickets are going to be a deal ... especially when it starts raining. Watch for me on your TV back home.

I think any excuse is a good one to NOT go to California. I'd much rather sit in a dome than outside in the rain. I sat through the ACCCG in the rain. Sure, tickets are going to be a deal, but the travel costs and hotels are not going to be a deal. Think about me in the comfort of my living room drinking an excellent bourbon while you're stuck in California.
