Allen has early offers from Alabama, Arizona State, Auburn, Clemson, Colorado State, Duke, Georgia, Georgia Tech, Kentucky, Louisville, Maryland, North Carolina, Penn State, South Carolina, Tennessee, Vanderbilt and Virginia. Kentucky was the first to offer. As a sophomore, he was named MaxPreps Sophomore All-American. He had such an impressive freshman campaign (started 9 games) that he was named an Adidas Freshman All-American. He has already committed to play in the 2018 U.S. Army All-American Bowl.
