Clemson has offered 4-star safety Deontay Anderson from Manvel, TX according to his twitter account. He is one of three prospects from Manvel(HS) that Clemson offered earlier in the week.

The versatile defensive back has offers from Arizona State, Clemson, Houston, LSU, Michigan State, Miss State, Nebraska, North Carolina, Notre Dame, Purdue, Stanford, TCU, Texas, Texas A&M, UCLA, Virginia Tech, Washington State and others.

Some of the schools that he has high interest include Alabama, LSU and Texas.

As a sophomore, he had 86 tackles, 3 interceptions, 11 pass break ups and a forced fumble. After the season he was named Sophomore All-American, All- State Honorable- Mention and 1st- Team All- District. As a freshman, he had 55 tackles. At a recent NIKE camp event, he ran a verified 4.57 40 yard dash.
