Height: 6-6 Weight: 270 Hometown: Ronda, NC (East Wilkes HS) Class: 2007
Landon Walker committed to Clemson Tuesday afternoon. Walker is third commitment on the offensive line for the 2007 class, which is off to a strong start. Walker joins upstate natives Wilson Norris and David Smith.
Walker did not play any games with his announcement. He walked in dressed fully in Clemson attire. On the big reason why he chose Clemson here is what Walker had to say. "The atmosphere in Clemson is unbelievable on game day, and you can't beat it. To get over 85,000 people in that stadium, and to know that the school has 16,000 students and the town has 12,000, that tells me a lot of Clemson fans are coming from somewhere else, so that just shows you the kind of support they have, to see all those people sell out for their players." Billy Napier recruited Walker for the Tigers.
