The 2018 Clemson Football recruiting class is shaping up nicely with several big-time commits headed to TigerTown next year.

ESPN.com released their latest ESPN 300 recruiting rankings on Thursday and it showed the overwhelming talent of the class spearheaded by 5-star quarterback Trevor Lawrence (#3 overall, #1 QB) and 5-star defensive end Xavier Thomas (#2 overall, #1 DE). Thomas moved down one spot on the individual overall rankings as 5-star quarterback Justin Fields from Kennesaw, GA took over the #1 overall ranking.

Other highly recruited Clemson commits that were on the prestigious ESPN 300 list included athlete Derion Kendrick (#79 overall, previously #75 overall), cornerback Kyler McMichael (#121 overall, previously #120 overall), and outside linebacker Mike Jones Jr. (#200 overall, previously #197 overall).

Clemson targets' rankings include offensive lineman Jackson Carman (#11 overall), offensive lineman Jamaree Salyer (#28 overall), and cornerback Anthony Cook (#37 overall).
