One of the top-rated athletes in the nation narrowed his field to three schools on Monday.
2022 Jefferson (Ga.) prospect Malaki Starks included Clemson, Alabama and Georgia in his top-3 schools after double-digit offers so far. "I want to start by saying thank you to all the coaches who have recruited me and to all those who have supported me," Starks said on social media, who is rated as high as the No. 2 athlete in the country. "I want to thank my family and teammates for always pushing me and all the coaches that taught so much about the game I love. With that being said, here’s my top 3." He tallied 27 tackles with five interceptions and rushed for 544 yards with five touchdowns and caught eight passes for 157 yards and two TDs as a sophomore. He has 22 stops and over 1,000 total yards and 15 touchdowns through five games as a junior. Starks cited a conversation with Clemson safeties coach Mickey Conn when receiving the Tigers' offer on June 1.
