5 star defensive end Ray Drew will pick from Georgia, Auburn and LSU on Friday at 10AM. Earlier reports had that Clemson head coach Dabo Swinney canceled his visit with Drew this week, but according to the Thomasville Times the parting was mutual.
“A Clemson guy called and told me (Drew) pretty much told them he ruled them out. They talked about sending the (head) coach down here and talking to him (Wednesday) and Ray said, ‘Coach it wouldn’t make that big of a difference. I don’t think I’m going to go to Clemson,” Central head football coach Bill Shaver told the Thomasville Times. “He pretty much told Clemson they’re out.” Shaver also said he knows where Drew will commit to, but would not reveal Drew's choice.
