3-star 2016 defensive back
Tony Butler
Tony Butler His finalists are Clemson, Arizona State and West Virginia and he plans to visit the Sun Devils in September. Butler told TigerNet.com back in late July that Clemson defensive back coach Mike Reed has already made a big impression. "The coaching staff is cool, Coach Reed was very honest with me and just told me that he feels like I'm the real deal, and I can make an impact early. But I'm going to have to want it and want to get better every day. He didn't promise me anything." The 3-star recruit said that Clemson is recruiting him as a cornerback. As a junior, Butler had 27 tackles, ten pass deflections, three interceptions and a forced fumble. Butler has offers from Arizona State, Clemson, Michigan, Minnesota, Rutgers, West Virginia, Boston College, Buffalo, Cincinnati, Illinois, Indiana, Iowa, Kentucky, Maryland, Miami(OH), Pittsburgh, Purdue, Syracuse, Temple, Toledo and Western Michigan. October 5th.
