Nuk Hopkins' injury update

According to NFL.com, former Clemson WR Nuk Hopkins has been cleared to return to Texans' practice and will likely start against the San Diego Chargers on Monday Night Football.

has received the green light to resume practice.

Hopkins finally passed the last hurdle in his concussion protocol and is "ready to go" for Monday night's opener versus the San Diego Chargers, John McClain of the Houston Chronicle reported Tuesday.

The No. 27 overall pick in the 2013 NFL Draft had previously suffered a concussion in a car wreck en route to the 2012 Orange Bowl in Miami.
