Miami commit draws Clemson offer

by -

Rockledge High School (Fla.) prospect and Miami commitment Ladarius Tennison announced a Clemson offer on Wednesday.

Tennison, who is rated as high as a four-star prospect, committed to Miami while on a Junior Day visit in February but has since visited Auburn and also added offers from Michigan and Louisville to similar interest from Georgia, West Virginia and Nebraska this year. He picked up offers last fall from Penn State and Florida State.

Tennison was named first-team all-conference as a junior, rushing for over 1,000 yards with 12 touchdowns and also adding five touchdown receptions - and leading the defensive side in tackles and sacks with 10 per game and 10 total sacks. He also had interception and punt returns for TDs.
