Following Clemson's scrimmage Monday afternoon in Death Valley, I saw Jeff Davis standing in the tunnel talking to Quandon Christian Quandon Christian

View Full Profile . Knowing that Davis had watched at least part of the scrimmage, I asked him how the linebackers were looking (who better to ask than a man who racked up 469 tackles as a Tiger). Here is how he responded, which I thought was kind of cool and I thought I would share:

"They are still learning. Which is a good thing. But the best thing I have seen out of them is that it looks like they are having fun playing football again. Last year, it looked like a job, and I told them until you wear this (pointed to his watch) and have to watch the clock, it shouldn't be a job. It looks like they are having fun again."
