Herbstreit's take on 2016 Clemson offense

by - Assoc. Editor -

ESPN analyst Kirk Herbstreit was impressed by his Clemson visit last season on Oct. 5 when #11 Clemson defeated #7 Notre Dame 24-22 in Death Valley.

Herbstreit appears to be excited with the Tigers once again.

The ESPN College GameDay co-host believes that the Tigers will not miss a beat offensively for the 2016 season.

"Be surprised if not most explosive and balanced offense in CFB (Clemson)," Herbstreit tweeted. "Expect them back where they were a year ago."

In 2015, Clemson finished the season with a #2 final AP Poll ranking with 1,525 points which was the highest ranking since the Tigers finished No. 1 in 1981.
