There are only five teams projected as a favorite in every game this 2025 regular season.

Clemson is one of them.

On3's Brett McMurphy examined the numbers from Vegas betting expert Brad Powers, who has a college football power rating. Powers says Clemson is in a group with Arizona State, Georgia, Notre Dame and Ohio State that are favored in each game this season.

Powers has Clemson as a double-digit favorite in all but three games: LSU (-4), at Louisville (-6) and at South Carolina (-4.5).

Powers also noted recently that Clemson has increased slightly as a favorite nationally for the August 30 home opener with LSU (7:30 p.m./ABC), moving from a 3-point favorite to 3.5.

McMurphy notes that being a preseason favorite in so many games isn't an end-all, be-all, with Florida State, Oklahoma State and Utah being favored in 11 games last year and all missing bowl eligibility, but on the flip side with the 2023 season, a quintet of Alabama, Georgia, Louisville, Michigan and Washington all were favored in every game and lost three regular season games combined (three teams going 12-0).

In the 2024 regular season, Clemson was favored in all but one regular season game, losing two of the favored matchups by 15 points combined. Clemson was a 10.5-point home favorite versus Louisville and lost 33-21, and a 2.5-point home favorite over South Carolina and lost 17-14.

The Tigers were an underdog versus SMU in the ACC Championship Game and covered (+2.5; won 34-31), and were an underdog at Texas and didn't cover (13.5-point underdog, lost by 14).
