Bowl Projection for Clemson

Bowl Projection for Clemson

by - Assoc. Editor -

Bracketology Expert Jerry Palm has released his latest Bowl Projections and has Clemson (#1 seed) vs. Oklahoma (#4 seed) in the Capital One Orange Bowl in the College Football Playoff.

The game would be a rematch of the 2014 Russell Athletic Bowl in which the Tigers crushed Oklahoma 40-6.

Former Clemson signal-caller Cole Stoudt was 26/36 for 319 passing yards and three touchdowns against the Sooners in his final game.

The other College Football Playoff projection has Alabama (#2 seed) vs. Michigan State (#3 seed) in the Goodyear Cotton Bowl.

Clemson will play South Carolina at Williams-Brice Stadium on Saturday afternoon with a 14-game winning streak, the longest active streak in college football.

The Gamecocks are 3-8 on the season and will miss out on postseason play.
