What an incredible 24 hours on campus! Thank you for your support in creating a memorable opening football weekend in Clemson. The national exposure that Clemson University received prior to, during and even now after the game is tremendous. I (Coach Swinney) was at ESPN College GameDay at 9 AM and the crowd was electric and it continued from pregame until postgame. You each did your part to show the nation why Clemson is such a special place. We could not have asked for a better environment to showcase our University and lift our football team to a thrilling 38-35 victory over No. 5 Georgia in Memorial Stadium Saturday night.
