There are so many bright spots. We know DJ can throw it. Taisun, when he settles down, is a serviceable backup (though I don't think there's much natty chance if DJ were to get hurt (knock on wood)). The running backs all look good. The wide receivers look good. The defensive linemen are all winning their 1 on 1s and the linebackers are doing their job.
I mean, yeah, it's not the entire first string offensive line playing. And that does make a difference. From 2015-2019, Clemson never had the line of all NFL guys. But they played well as a unit. But you can still look at see how our guys doing in their 1 on 1 matchups. The offensive linemen are getting blown away. And while the defensive line is good, I can't confidently say they're is better than Georgia's, Alabama's, or Ohio State's. The offensive line play and the defensive backs still seem to be a weakness, one I hope is all good by UGA.
