Clemson 2016 signee Carter Kieboom from Marietta, GA was selected by the Washington Nationals with the #28th selection in the first round of the 2016 MLB Draft.
Kieboom is 6-2, 185 lbs and can play third base, shortstop or pitcher (throws with any hand) and is rated as a 2014 Underclass Honorable Mention according to Perfectgame.org. Clemson fans should know the name because he is the younger brother of former Clemson catcher Spencer Kieboom, who is currently in the Washington Nationals farm system. His favorite player is Nomar Garciaparra and he likes to do anything outdoors including fishing according to his MLB Network's draft profile.
