First Clemson game on TV: January 1, 1982. Clemson 22, Nebraska 15. I was living in Alaska at the time, and we were stationed in Nebraska in the late 1970s. Ironically, at the time, I was a Huskers fan (I was 9 years old at the time, so give me a break). I distinctly remember watching the CBS news the day after, and the coverage of the celebration in the sleepy town of Clemson, South Carolina.

First live Clemson game: I can't honestly remember which game it was, but it would have been some time during my brother's time at Clemson, between 1984 and 1989.

First live Clemson game as a student: September 7, 1991, Appalachian State v. Clemson.

My greatest Clemson football comeback witnessed live: October 10, 1992, Clemson v. Virginia. We overcame a 28-point deficit in defeating 10th-ranked Virginia 29-28. It was just the third win over a top-10 team on the road in Clemson history.

My first Clemson bowl game: January 1, 1996, Syracuse 41, Clemson 0 (McNabb and company killed us).

My second Clemson bowl game: January 2, 1998, Auburn 21, Clemson 17 (I have had two terrible bowl experiences).

My greatest Clemson basketball comeback witnessed live: March 2, 2008, Clemson v. Maryland. We overcame a 59-39 deficit with 11:21 remaining to gain a 73-70 victory. This game is tied for the largest deficit overcome to gain victory at any point in a game in Clemson history.
