First job was teaching at Newberry College in Newberry, South Carolina. Then I worked in heavy industrial and high rise construction as a project manager 9 years. Owned my own commercial and residential construction company 8 years. Managed largest workforce developing and training operation in North Carolina 7 years. Was regional manager for industrial recruitment for N.C. Department of Commerce 9 years. Now, I help community colleges and universities work more effectively within the private sector (5 years).
