I could be totally wrong, but IMO that could hurt our recruiting just as much as being a member of the ACC!!!

Nah, I don't believe it really impacts recruiting that much. I imagine players know it's a business and the coaching staff gets to point toward "hey, we'll get you ready for a shot, give you primetime games to showcase your talents, and it's on you to perform at that point when the NFL comes calling."
Of course, it'd help to have players stick and some become breakout superstars but I imagine Dabo and co can spin it however they need to so recruiting is minimally impacted. The PAW journey I imagine, is a great selling point too.

Yes, the paw journey is huge. But I tend to agree with AO52 that it gives teams a little more ammo to use against us. Not saying we don't get our fair share, but all coaches use the iron sharpen iron technique in recruiting. The NFL isn't a training ground, right? Some of it is our base style. We don't run a pro set like uga.
So, I'm of the opinion that any little edge only helps. That's why I strongly believe that Luke and now Allen will be a huge benefit to dispelling some of the negativity. Both are well respected in their craft.
Simmons is kinda an anomaly. Good at multiple positions but not great at any one. Jmho.

With both not being all that successful as head coaches, I hope that keeps both of them at Clemson for as long as Dabo believes they are worth their salary they are being paid...
I think that Luke will stay for as long as he feels welcome at Clemson, but I'm not sure about how long Allen would want to stay at Clemson before retiring or looking for another HC job...

Wow, unfortunately, that’s a lot of outs! Of course when you only have 3 players drafted total in 2025, and the first wasn’t until the fourth round, we shouldn’t have expected much. This time next year will completely flip this ######!

still so shocking to me that Isaiah Simmons didn’t really work out in the NFL. I was pretty convinced he would have a long, storied career in the NFL

There’s still plenty of Tigers on NFL rosters. These are just the guys on the bubble of making or not making rosters. Even if they’re out, several will be resigned to practice squads or could be picked up by other teams

I would hate to be looking at or depending on those situations for taking care of my family or paying the monthly bills that show up in the mail box every month...
