It's always exciting to get a look at our freshmen for the first time and hoping to have a few happy surprises with those not arriving till June.

Maybe I've missed it with a lot of talk on lack of wr, but do y'all think Noble Johnson will have the breakout year that I'm thinking he will ? How did he look.

him to have a solid year, especially considering the depth chart at wr.

This freshman defensive unit is unbelievably good. The secondary and LBs and Line. National Title good.

This is very good news. I wish just one of those mentioned sounded like a playmaker on offense.

Was thinking the same thing. Hence my post above. A bit perplexed we haven't heard more chatter about the offense position. I was expecting a lot of excitement about Vizz but the posts seem underwhelmed.
I can watch the game but I don't really know if player x or y did good or not. Saying, did Noble run the correct route, or Vizz make the right read etc.

With all that the team has that's going to help our Tiger team make the jump back to where they were prior to the past two years, and when sports writers act as if we'll never return to the glory days, some not all, act as if what they're saying isn't a slight towards our Clemson Tigers or Dabo. The real truth is that it is...
At some point all teams that rose to the top of a sport and had staying power the way that we've had for almost a decade will have a couple/few season that they don't play up to the expatiations they've held onto for an extended time, are expected to get back to the top, but, it has seemed not to be the case if that team is named Clemson.
It's not over for our Tiger FB team, we will go right back to the top just as Bama has done under Nick Saban, Clemson will do the same under Dabo Swinney, and just bc Dabo tried some things that didn't work out the way he expected, it doesn't mean that he completely forgot what or how he took our Tiger FB team to the top.
Even though things like the transfer portal and the NIL money has made it harder to keep the elite athletes stacked up the same as before, the facts are that all of college sports are on that same page even though some will take an unfair advantage over most but, as long as Dabo is our HC, I believe that our FB team will remain competitive, and we will remain as one of the top 10 teams that will be a threat to win it all 4 or 5 seasons out of every 10 with Dabo as our HC....

Sounds great, love that so many in this class are already making an impact.

Ive got maybe 50 years in this game and one look at Peter Woods told me he was going to be very good. Just looking at his build and his face, you could see greatness written on him like few others. Relax on the recruiting worries, already, this is a really good class all the way around
