Dang, I missed this. This is huge. Good deal. Potentially makes a big difference for us since we tend to have many early enrolled students. Heck yeah, get em all down there. Get Vizz there.

But, that's pretty much how it's going now. 3 years. 3 years with a kid. After 3, they've either made it and leave for NFL or move on to the portal. The only exception is the OL and to a lesser extent, DL. At least for your top talent.

Should be helpful as a recruiting tool particularly if the post season practice and rule change for early enrollees extends into the new playoffs.

My guess is...the other haven't completed the necessary requirements to be "released" from their prior educational institutions and be eligible.

Since they are practicing and traveling do they:
Get the swag that is given?
When we win are they eligible for a ring?
I know, strange questions but we are entering new territory.
If they are granted rings and gear with no contribution to the journey that hit the team there, how does the rest of the team see that?
Just curious as to this part. I’m all for the extra practice and coaching they receive as it is a great advantage come Fall.
