Don't get too excited . . . the "Bubble-Screen" is still a pass.***

Until then, he's nothing more than Mr. Burns wearing orange.

It is considered an outside run in this offense and every other offense that I know. Went to a clinic that he spoke at and this is what a bubble is used for. Also, it is an automatic checkdown depending on if the slots are covered down or the defensive players are cheating into the box area. QB has this call.

You made a statement, I gave you an answer. Whether you like it or not, it is a checkdown by the QB that is taught on day 1 in camp. If it is used too much, blame the QB. He also has the authority to check to a zone run to the covered down look. Regardless of the play call from Spence, he has the option to check. And yes, I do coach.

Why can't we do both well?
The debacle of the second half of last year is inexcusable.

Did you see Proctor the second half of the season? I'm not one to bash a player, but he definitely was not comfortable in the pocket post GT game. He was missing his receivers by a good 5 yards and would take off running if heard a lineman pass gas.
Hopefully we can get someone who'll make a defense respect the pass so we can ram Thunder & Lighning down their throat.

Spence sure was pass-happy against Kentucky

when their run D was ranked in the 100's.
Our offense had better be improved this year. Running up stats against Temple & LA Tech means nothing to me.
It's time for Spence to show something against real competition.

Or like Boston College and FSU?
I know the season ended on a bad note, but it's not like we played like crap against anyone with a pulse.

What I can't figure out is why Proctor played an MVP-type game in the Senior Bowl with only a week of practice in that system, but looked COMPLETELY lost in the Clemson scheme he had been exposed to for 4 years.

Must these adjustments always be made the following year?

We knew after VT that the passing game sucked, so why not start focusing on it then? Bowden and staff are great for getting prepared after the season is over.

The person who posted this seems unsure if the info is correct. Lot of question marks.
