His acceleration looked unreal on those screen passes in the bowl game. I think he might go under as well

Not going say he breaks the NFL record, 4.24?
But I'll say something like...4.31.

On this site, I saw a replay of C.J. Spiller running 2 "unofficial" 40's timed by the combine folks, and one was 4.27 and the other was 4.28. That is pretty fast. Don't know if Sammy beats that, but he will be just fine with his combine results, IMO. Whoever gets him will have a great football player on their roster. He is a winner, plain and simple.

said that Sammy was not the fastest player on the team. Both Peake and Bryant have had faster unofficial times than Sammy, if not mistaken.

I think over. His burst to full speed might be the best I have ever seen!

I think, Hopper and Martavius Bryant are supposed to be faster, too. So what? Sammy is a player, and whomever gets him will be the better team for it.

draft and I may never see a WR of his caliber at Clemson again in my lifetime; but that's not my point. My point is that there is such a huge deal being made about his speed, you'd think it was going to be some kind of mind-blowing, unbelievable number, but he was not even the fastest player on our team.

I believe I read where he was our 4th fastest player last year. Whatever, he has lit up the highlight reels for 3 years, and he is never more than a step away from a TD.

Because of his athletic ability. His speed is 1/3 and his football smarts are another 1/3 ...it is his ability to make the difficult catch that I believe seperates him from this yeats crop of WR.

40. Pretty much any non-overweight HS kid can do that. Just look at how much faster the 4.3 guys are than the 4.6 - 4.7 guys. That's the difference b/t a guy like Spiller and the college LBs that he left 10 yards in the dust.
I dunno much about Eisen's physical condition, but he would basically have to be running on 2 knee replacements to not get a 6 second 40.
