Four offenses with dual-threat QBs. Pollack must have seen

what the NFL is beginning to institute. All four have defenses on the rise. And then, of course, there's Bama.

This is a tactic for use in our game vs UGA
Jan 15, 2013, 12:05 PM
|
|
To start with, DP is an idiot. Any announcer that gets called out in multiple postgame pressers is an idiot. And with that being said, he is also a homer (for UGA and SEC) and actually a pretty smart move from him, IF you are trying to promote UGA and the SEC.
This is a bit of a no lose situation for him. If he is right, Clemson is good, he will tell everybody how he was right. (fall back position for him). He does not believe this, we all know how much of a joke he made of us before the LSU game. By promoting Clemson in the pre-season, his beleive is that UGA will beat us and thus, UGA should be pushed way up the rankings, because the beat such a "great opponent" in Clemson. This is his plan to promote the Dawgs through association without being called a homer.

a little kid about Clemson vs the SEC in that segment, only to have to sit back and watch Clemson beat LSU puts a big smile on my face though.

poor lou's wounds.
it is espn's main thing though. many of their segments are as much about the "show", the energy it creates[positive or negative] as it is about the information.
acc wheel of destiny anyone?

great point......He is a lot more likeable than the other commentators on that network. At least Lou(ser) has a reason to dislike us.......because we OWNED HIM! He didn't do too well against the A-SHE-SHE did he?

of his career with ESPN... ever. I actually like Pollack, him along with Herbstreit and Palmer at ESPN. They all seem pretty fair when it comes to Clemson.

He's probably concerned with all the top players GA is losing on D, they will have 3 or 4 defensive players taken in the 1st RD.

This is the same guy that mocked and laughed at CLEMSON. With the Louser sitting next to him. I was glad they were so pompous and sure of that SEC dominance. That just made the dominating win that much better.
Sorry "Doush Baggy"

Wasn't he the one that joked that the loser of the Clemson LSU game should have to relinquish the rights to the term "Death Valley?"
If so, I expect him to refrain from ever calling Tiger Stadium in Baton Rouge, "Death Valley".

Pollack is as close to a Clemson fan as there is at ESPiN

that being said, he is one of the espin folks that does call things as he sees them, whether he ends up right or wrong (there are some of them, regardless of the vitriol on this board). Don't know if I buy into top 5 until we beat top 5/10 competition regularly, but he is not far off in the prediction realm based on hopeful progression of things.
