Great Baseball Season

It is appropriate to be disappointed over the loss considering the position we were in on Friday afternoon, but guys... what a great season. Whether looking back to the beginning of the season when we all have the best of expectations, or looking back at the first of May when we were just praying to make the ACC tournament must less the NCAA.... and realise that we finished in the final 4. I am proud of our players and feel blessed to have Jack Legget as our coach.

Year after year we are one of the top teams in the nation and Jack does it with class. Sure I would like a championship but I walk the streets here in Texas proud to wear my Clemson shirts and hats. People recognize the paw and show us a great deal of respect.

Today is just another day that I am proud to be a Tiger!

We made it much farther than any of us would have thought in march. We showed some toughness which is nice to see from a Clemson team. And the Fact is we got beat by a much better team twice in Omaha. If it wasn't for Carolina's inablity to win the first game of the CWS, they would have been in the position we were in on Thursday.

I don't care how you guys want to spin it, there is absolutely nothing good about being sent home by your archrival!!! Maybe living in Texas has made you a weak fan.

I completely agree, Mr. tx. These are indeed dark times for the orange blooded - beaten by the Chickens and missing out on the finals. But let us remember that these are also rare times. It has always been great to be a Tiger and always will be.

We had a "down" season and still went to the College World Series. That is the mark of a program, not just a good team. Clemson will ride on and, on average, over time, prevail over the Chickens.
