I just made Chief!!!!

I found out 2 hours a go that I made Chief. I am so excited. I have been in the Navy 13 years. I just wanted to share it with my Tiger brethren.

Congrats,
Been a Chief for 8 years, recently retired. Hopefully you're going through the process. (Initiation/Indoctrination), whatever they call it now. Remeber to enjoy yourself, take care of your people, and if you need anything, let me know.

I just got home from our meet and greet. I have the weekend to spend with my wife and then the fun begins. I know it will be stressful but I am going to enjoy every bit of it. I am overwhelmed with so much emotions. It is so surreal. The next six weeks will be great. Thank you everyone for the love and support.

today. I Left home on 8/1 got to Great Lakes on 8/2/94. I got out AT3, scary to think I could have been in khakis now. Anyway, thanks for all you do and again, congrats. It is a huge accomplishment!
