die-hard coot fan....

Jul 9, 2006, 6:39 PM

Today my wife's best friend had her son's birthday party. And of course her and her husband are huge coot lovers. They give several thousand dollars per year to the coots. Well as we were discussing the future of both the coots and Tigers it was mentioned that they would never been seen wearing Orange or having anything to with the Tiger Paw. Well time came for us to leave and as we did I passed one of there vehicles and noticed something. On his vehicles the brand of tires were "Tiger Paw Uniroyals" and they had a Tiger Paw on them. Well I just had to do something. I had an Orange paint pen in my car so I painted the Paws Oerange. Now how cruel is that. Not that cruel. What irony.

Lat year at the N.C.State game I put about a dozen TIger Paw

Jul 9, 2006, 6:47 PM

stickers on the backs of unsuspecting Wolfpackers sitting in front of us. Every time they would stand up and yell, the Tigers behind me would cheer. My friends took the stickers away from me when I started to put one on a bald headed man's scalp. I freely admit it was low-class; but I enjoyed it just the same.

On his scalp...very very funny.***

Yeah, like that Gerogia Bulldog you see at every game.***

I put one on a guys shirt and then he pulled on a sweatshirt

so I had to tag him again. We started laughing real hard when we thought about him going home and his wife saying " Hey Honey, you've got a Tiger Paw on your back". Then, when he pulls it off to take a look and she sees the other one.....well, you know that guy was ready to kick my butt.

Oh yeah and this too...

A few years ago they took out a loan on their house and bought a Coot-a-bouse or whatever those things are called.

He must be a real brain surgeon

Jul 9, 2006, 7:07 PM

He traded equity in his house for a dalapadated (sp?) piece of scrap metal in the middle of an abandon warehouse lot .... priceless!

flag link military_tech thumb_downthumb_up

Those "pieces of scrap metal" are worth around 200 grand

Jul 9, 2006, 8:17 PM

these days and the value is only going up. Don't forget who is the business school.

They're only worth what fools are willing to pay for them.

flag link military_tech thumb_downthumb_up

Yeah - what asset class do they fall into; ask your business

Jul 9, 2006, 8:30 PM [ in reply to Those "pieces of scrap metal" are worth around 200 grand ]

school. Don't say real estate either. I manage two pension funds ... please, do tell.

flag link military_tech thumb_downthumb_up

LOL.....

Jul 9, 2006, 8:31 PM [ in reply to Those "pieces of scrap metal" are worth around 200 grand ]

only in a coots eyes are they worth that much. If that is what your business school teaches....very sad

badge-donor-05yr.jpg flag link military_tech thumb_downthumb_up

Then learn to manage a checkbook....

Jul 9, 2006, 9:06 PM [ in reply to Those "pieces of scrap metal" are worth around 200 grand ]

There are too many articles around about how USC's athletic budget is in the negative. Did the business school teach you morons to build an 18,000 seat arena when you only need 12,000. Oh, the examples could go on!

flag link military_tech thumb_downthumb_up

Just shaking my head at this spin.....

Jul 9, 2006, 9:32 PM [ in reply to Those "pieces of scrap metal" are worth around 200 grand ]

An athletic department up to it's keister in debt because of mismanagement, and you try and flaunt your school's business school prowess......

with a caboose?!?!

Help me

badge-donor-10yr.jpg flag link military_tech thumb_downthumb_up

That is POWERFUL stupid.***
