We have witnessed a Tiger team grow.

Just a few years ago Dabo was an interim coach. David Blackwell was the defensive coordinator and Billy Napier was the offensive coordinator. Think about that. Slowly the changes started to occur. Dabo started to make changes around him. New position coaches. New coordinators. Instituting standard of excellence and accountability with the players. Remember him making an O-lineman go back on the field and then run back off because he didn't hustle? Remember him starting the Tigerwalk and demanding the players wear suits instead of athletic clothing? Remember him making the players have dinner together at the WEZ in suits? Remember him granting Dye a release when he threatened to leave? Then benching him for better players? Remember him saying on national TV that he loves these players more than he loves winning? Remember when he sent his 5star backup running back home in the front seat of a SCHP car and didn't allow him to practice with the team for violating team rules? This list can go on and on. Point is that this is a TEAM. They are not where they want to be yet. Heck, they may never achieve a 14-0 record; however, they will have integrity. The are led by a group of men with integrity. They will be successful and productive. The will always be Tigers. Congratulations Dabo. You make us all proud.

I know some people don't care for his "style," so-to-speak,

but I think his youthful exuberance has probably done more to reawaken that ole, fighting spirit not only within the team, but in the fan base as well. Even to some of us "older" folks, there's something about that passion and excitement that reignites our flames and reminds us of our passionate days at Clemson. For those reasons I don't think his "tirade" in the now-famous press conference was directed as much against South Carolina as it was toward the Clemson family. He HAS TO HAVE ALL OF US aboard the train toward even greater accomplishments...and I'm willing to go along on the ride...ALL IN!

had a good feeling about swinney the first time he took the team to a hospital to visit the patients who were much less fortunate.coaching isn't just about x's and o's.really good coaches have really good people skills, and it seems that dabo possesses those intangibles and that they will only get better as time goes on.

and the way he runs things will make the Tigers win big because what he's about is what winners are about, on and off the field. I'm not a religious guy myself, but the character, integrity and standards that Dabo stands for, and the passion that he is instilling will bring some big time national power mentality to the Tigers.....I hope he stays for the long haul and i'll sit back and watch the show. He has discipline in the program and teamwork instilled without the players being scared of him or miserable. That's a tough balance to have and he's figured it out at a very young coaching age. He's got a lot of room to grow and learn and i think that every year we'll be better because he won't let the recruiting slip in the process. He's too much about winning to let it slip but he's about winning the right way and that's what's important.
