y'all are going to have so much fun in New Orleans...

There is literally no bad place to eat anywhere. Sitting at the oyster bar at Acme Oyster and having fresh oysters on the half shell is a sublime experience. I also recommend having a drink or two at the Carousel Bar at the Hotel Monteleone, just awesome.

If you have some time during the day go see the National D-Day museum in the warehouse district. It's the best WW2 museum I've ever seen and I think I've seen most of them. Have fund, boys! Best Regards, CGD

Are you allowed to be so nice? Is this proper...or a trap? ;) Asking for a friend...I'm rather convinced you're legit, myself.

The Sugar Bowl is hands down the best bowl to attend. The atmosphere is just electric in the city. Don't forget Cafe du Monde.

I also agree on the D-Day museum. Oak Alley plantation is a good visit too.

I know Pat O'Briens is touristy, but I still love that place, and hand grenades at Tropical isle.

That WWII museum is awesome.***

Good point--my bad.

For awhile they marketed themselves as the D-Day museum.***

Cold Gin....

Y'all going to Pasadena? My kids were bummed about not getting to go to Cali. Its funny, cost-wise, it would've been about the same for us to fly out there as it will be to NO.

If he is, hopefully his Dawgs don't do the Cold Gin Fizz....

Yes, going to the Rose Bowl. Never played in the Rose Bowl in my adult lifetime and might never again for a long time so I wouldn't miss it.

A fund will be needed, indeed.

Please report back on your Rose Bowl trip.

I have heard The Rose Bowl Stadium is less than average from a fan standpoint.

That may be true, I just don't know. If your game is in the Superdome, that place is not great from the spectator side of things but, they do sell crawfish pies in the concessions to there's that.
