When the best teams in the country are all in one conference and play each other, that happens.
Doesn’t mean they aren’t the best teams and shouldn’t be in the playoffs.
Two 2-loss SEC teams in the playoff seems perfectly reasonable.

seeing the Bama/LSU winner losing twice. That would likely mean losing to both Auburn and Georgia/Florida along with the Georgia/Florida winner losing another game elsewhere.

Even if we did end up with an 11-2 SEC champ, do you really have any confidence in the Pac 12 beating them out for the last spot? I dont see Oregon or Utah winning out.
