What impressed me the most about gallman is how he picks up the blitz and blocks so well

but, when healthy, Dye has that "it" factor that pure RBs have

Much better use of leverage and power than Gallman.

Gallman looks good, but he runs too upright.

I wouldn't agree that it means nothing, but Peterson does

both those guys you mentioned are "true RBs"...

the get downhill in a hurry... foot in the ground, and boom, downhill
Gallman has learned to be a good RB, and he is our guy... no question
but if he can stay healthy and has a good work ethic... Dye could be the next in that list of "pure" RBs from Clemson

It's the reason Gallman, even at 210 pounds, doesn't run

with the power you would expect from a man that size. He has good speed.
Contrast that to Dye who, though he lacks the top end speed of Gallman, runs with so much more power, though they are the same size.

Gallaman is far superior in the open field.

Dye is a solid back. Probably #2 by talent. As I type this, Zack brooks just had a great run for a TD.

I can't say yet as we have not seen Dye in the spots Gallman has played in and WELL. Looks like he's playing even better with more hole discipline and a nice cut.
