i love Gallman... but when completely healthy

Sep 5, 2015, 1:46 PM

I think Dye is our best back

Gallman is our best RB.***

What impressed me the most about gallman is how he picks up the blitz and blocks so well

flag link military_tech thumb_downthumb_up

^^^^ agreed.... which is a great reason to keep him

on the field

like I said... I love Gallman, and he's improved more

Sep 5, 2015, 1:49 PM [ in reply to Gallman is our best RB.*** ]

than anyone

but, when healthy, Dye has that "it" factor that pure RBs have

Much better use of leverage and power than Gallman.

Sep 5, 2015, 1:48 PM

Gallman looks good, but he runs too upright.

So does Adrian Peterson. Means Nothing.***

You can't possibly believe that.

Sep 5, 2015, 1:50 PM

Ridiculous statement.

2024 orange level memberbadge-donor-05yr.jpg flag link military_tech thumb_downthumb_up

I wouldn't agree that it means nothing, but Peterson does

Sep 5, 2015, 1:52 PM

run upright. So does DeMarco Murray.

flag link military_tech thumb_downthumb_up

both those guys you mentioned are "true RBs"...

Sep 5, 2015, 1:54 PM

the get downhill in a hurry... foot in the ground, and boom, downhill

Gallman has learned to be a good RB, and he is our guy... no question

but if he can stay healthy and has a good work ethic... Dye could be the next in that list of "pure" RBs from Clemson

Upright style didnt stop Peterson, Dickerson, Murray, etc...

Means nothing.

It's the reason Gallman, even at 210 pounds, doesn't run

Sep 5, 2015, 2:06 PM

with the power you would expect from a man that size. He has good speed.

Contrast that to Dye who, though he lacks the top end speed of Gallman, runs with so much more power, though they are the same size.

Completely Disagree

Sep 5, 2015, 1:49 PM

Gallaman is far superior in the open field.

Gallman is also a weapon catchingout ofthe backfield***

Sep 5, 2015, 1:53 PM

flag link military_tech thumb_downthumb_up

yes he is... huge weapon

Sep 5, 2015, 1:56 PM

I never said Gallman should get less snaps, or Dye should get more

Dye is a solid back. Probably #2 by talent. As I type this, Zack brooks just had a great run for a TD.

flag link military_tech thumb_downthumb_up

False, Ben Boulware is our best RB....

Sep 5, 2015, 1:49 PM

He just hate to work with quarterbacks.

Re: i love Gallman... but when completely healthy

Sep 5, 2015, 1:54 PM

I can't say yet as we have not seen Dye in the spots Gallman has played in and WELL. Looks like he's playing even better with more hole discipline and a nice cut.
