if it didn't involve us, you would love the way the kid played everybody including ESPN. Had he just listed the "usual Suspects" Kansas, UNC, Duke, and Kentucky, very few people would have noticed or cared about his signing outside those blueblood school's fanbases. By throwing in us and the coots, he got an audience of all those pulling for underdogs, all the haters of the bigdogs, and got ESPN to broadcast it primetime: plus he got both South Carolina and Clemson fans to make fools of ourselves on national TV begging him. What a great ego-trip! Admit it, if it had just been the coots that he played, you would find this hysterical!
I admit that the notion to take a school that has had a tough go and give them false hope, when there was no intention in the first place, is a pretty low thing to do. Not much class in that. Why do that to the people that were proud of their local star.
Next LeBron, Lebron actually gave home a chance. I guess he can go to the Bobcats or Hornets, whatever they are called, to make amends.
I find these types of announcement an EGO, NARSACISTIC

trip. I am not a fan of this type of announcement. Just announce and let the chips fall where they may. I thought the LeBron James debacle would have put an end to these types of PDSA (Public Display of Self Affection).
