We batted .333 with a .409 on base % tonight

For the series we batted 0.286 with a 0.370 on base %. We out scored the best pitching team in the country 17-15 over the series. I didn't think we would be able to score half that many prior to the series (I guessed 8-9 runs and another poster guessed 3-4 runs for the series - and I think we were both serious). Yeah, we've got to work on our relief pitching, but as Coach Leggett now infamously said: "I wouldn't want to play us right now".

because I always believe in the kids on all our teams and will support them win or lose. THEY are the ones that hurt the most when the going gets tough.

we also left a million runners on base. that is why lewisville is good and we are average at best. we had several opportunities to put the dagger in and failed in almost every case. take out fridays stats and let me know what you come up with the last 2 days.
