Proof a high school education not needed to enter/graduate UofSCAR:

Per FGF poster: "What is yall's salary cap on new recruits?"

There have been many times I, and others, butcher the English language just for fun. That post on fgf did not appear to be one of those times.

In the south 'you all' is incorrect English. The most prevalent usage is as y'all, although ya'll is acceptable. Many linguists trace it to “ye aw”, which made its way to American shores with the tens of thousands of Scots-Irish who emigrated from Ulster to Appalachia over the 18th century.

If you don't use y'all in informal writing and conversation , are you really southern ? What do all y'all think ?
