These afternoon baseball games

bring back a couple of memories. My earliest is before I started school, my Mom watching the Gillette “game of the week” and she wanted me to take a nap. I can hear Lindsey Nelson’s voice, I don’t know if he did baseball in the early 50’s?

Coming home on the bus in the third grade and one of the older kids had a transistor radio tuned to the World Series. Bill Mazeroski hit a home run to beat the Yankees and take the series.

I remember Dizzy and Pee Wee and the Falstaff game of the week. BTW that was the beer to have if you're having more than one
