Apparently bros on a subreddit managed to blow up this stock, either accidentally or on purpose.
Graph doesn't look that weird until you notice it's just 30 days, it's gamestop (after christmas no less) and the scale is ridiculous.
Seems legit.

sub reddit group hates hedge funds, so the way to hurt it is to push Gamestop up, make the hedge fund buy the stock at higher prices to cover their short sale. And it went thru the f'ing roof.

I bought some stock that totally tanked when oil prices

went to nothing, The company was still solid, so I bought more, hoping that with only a modest recovery - which I expected to happen - I could get my money back. Basically it needed to go up $9 to break even. For a couple of years now it will climb about $5 over a period of 3 or 4 months, then drop back to the starting point in a matter of days. That cycle has repeated 5 or 6 times. I don't know that this happens, but in my imagination a major holder is periodically dumping at that price, maybe even buying some at the bottom to get it going back up.
