Syracuse roster

Cuse’s roster numbers are more akin to an FCS school than an ACC school because of significant number of injuries and Covid-19 opt-outs. Fewer than 60 scholarship players are suiting up (the FCS scholarship limit is 63), and of those, nearly half are freshmen. Starting QB Tommy DeVito is out for the year. All American safety Andre Cisco is out for the year.. The three too running backs out - two opted out the other is hurt.

They barely have enough players to meet NCAA requirements. Simple put they are handful of positive a covid tests away from not be able to play the game.

Babers has $17M buyout so he will be around. Besides that he’s been dealt a bad hand with the roster situation

He dealt himself that bad hand..... recruiting is weak in Western NY and nobody wants to play in a dome with out A/C. Dino is a good coach but Syracuse needs a miracle worker.

they've recently upgraded to add A/C.

Never mind. I jumped the gun. They PLAN to add air conditioning.

"The installation was ahead of schedule as of Aug. 7, with about 80% of the work done. The progress will allow some sections to be air conditioned as early as this fall, Sala said. Previously, the air conditioning units were not expected to be operational until May 2021. "
