It remains to be seen if this is really a recruiting advantage or not. I don't remember many juco "hits" from back when we used to take them.

problem w/ JUCOs for us is that it is a system like dealing w/ HS coaches, where we have no ties. programs that regularly recruit JUCO also usually oversign and place their non-qualifiers in JUCO, giving them a relationship w/ that player and his JUCO coach. That JUCO placement can then help recruit teammates, or the JUCO coach may help guide the better prospects. Clemson has its work to do, or they'll just be signing the marginal JUCOs.

that was more prep school. But many of the prep schools are getting out of the football business.
