Saban Blames His Assistants

This came up on my home page, It's an article on Yahoo Sports by Pat Forde, "Is Alabama No Longer the Gold Standard of College Football"? It's an interesting read that you may want to Google.

Saban places a lot of the blame on his assistants, particularly those who took jobs elsewhere.

I liked Forde's remark re the following: On Page 51 of the league media guide it lists Alabama's 2018 record as 14 - 0, "as if that game never really happened". (referring to the national championship game)

Maybe he should focus on not creating a toxic work environment. Typically employees who love where they work tend to be more efficient and perform better.

It should read 14-2 because that 28 point beat down was twice as bad as any loss Saban has had in the college ranks.

Strange comment. When I heard him say it I immediately thought, "Kinda like you were with the Dolphins? I guess you ought to know about coaches not being focused because they are looking for another job."

I was watching the presser. I was pretty shocked. He said they weren't focused on the team after the LSU game. More excuses.

back to Michigan State for all of his coaches who wanted to join him in Baton Rouge. The plane came back empty....from what I heard.
