Rodger, Powell and the TE are doing well but who will step

I think Ngata and Ladson will be at a different level by the end of this year

And I like what I’m seeing out of Williams. Ajou is going to be a beast but he needs more coaching and I’d be surprised if he’s a huge contributor during the post season but would love it and eat crow if I’m wrong. We sure do miss Ross there is no doubt about it.

You need to clarify what you mean by "deep threat".

Do you mean a speed guy who can run past the secondary for a long bomb?

Deon Cain is the only WR in any of our playoff appearances who could run past someone in coverage. Williams, Ross and Higgins needed coverage busts or to be covered by a safety to run past the defense.

Rodgers and Ladson have shown the ability to do that this season and Ladson should get better at it moving forward.

Or do you mean a guy who can catch the 20-30 yard jumpball?

We have not had anybody step into that role this year. I would love to see somebody go up and fight for the ball in coverage and come down with it consistently.

All of the above questions you were asking. Ladson has shown some promise but has problems catching the ball. He will have to prove he can be the guy or TL will not look to throw the ball his way.
