Why do you think Monte changed the lineup for this weekend and why do you think he keeps Teo in the lineup?

his number might be in the longer term - beyond NCST.

Some folks seem to be readying the lifeboats and there's a lot of baseball yet to be played before the tourneys...

He tried to alternate left right left right in the lineup to hopefully keep them out of a rhythm.

Apparently the State pitchers are good enough that it didn't work.

Because he knew NCST had good pitching and our lineup has not been exactly killing the ball.
ML is a good Coach and knew that this weekend might be a struggle at the plate .

1. He is too valuable at center not to have him there.

2. You can either let him work things out now and hope the rest of the line up carries the weight or bench him and possibly get in his head more and make it worse.

It’s early in the season; monte knows he need to get teo some confidence now so he is hopefully hitting better when it matters most late in the season.

The transition is prob just taking longer than anticipated but sometimes it just one at bat and it’s turns batter around. He has the build and power to be a really good hitter.
